Local web designer takes out three major awards from Brisbane’s E-Business Institute!
Alright, bit of news to share β and I promise I’ll keep the self-congratulation to a minimum.
Last week in Brisbane, I walked away from E-Business Institute’s international Champions program with three awards:
π Graduate of the Year 2025 (1 of only 5 internationally)
π High Achievers Award
π Award For Excellence
To be honest, this year meant reallocating a lot of time and effort away from my new business to focus on upskilling. But it was worth it β because now I can deliver even better outcomes for local businesses moving forward.
I’m pretty proud of this achievement, but here’s why this actually matters if you’re a Gympie business owner.
What is Champions?
Champions is E-Business Institute’s most advanced entrepreneurship program, created by industry legends Matt and Liz Raad. Based in Brisbane, they accept applications from around the world β and only accept about 50 people per year.
It’s a 12-month intensive training designed to help people succeed online through personalised coaching and accountability. While the program accepts complete beginners with the right drive and passion for digital marketing, many participants come through E-Business Institute’s other programs first.
I’d already completed their Web Dev Course and was working through their Digital Investors program before being accepted into Champions β so I came in with a solid foundation, but Champions took everything to a completely different level.
Graduate of the Year is the top-tier award β typically only given to 1 person each year. This year, there were 5 standout performers who couldn’t be split, so all 5 received the top award. I’m honoured to be one of them.
