Gympie Web Design is a family-owned digital agency based in Gympie, QLD, led by husband-and-wife team Rhys and Olivia Everitt. Rhys Everitt
OWNER | WEB DESIGNER | SEO SPECIALIST
Born and raised in Gympie, Rhys is not your typical web designer. After 11 years as a sworn member of the Queensland Police Service — serving communities across Cairns, Kingaroy, Imbil, and the Wide Bay — he retrained in web design and SEO in 2022 to help local businesses succeed online.
That police background is not just a biography detail. It shaped how Rhys approaches every build: thorough research, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to straight talk. No jargon, no false promises. Just honest advice about what your website needs and realistic timelines for what it will take to rank.
In 2025, Rhys completed E-Business Institute’s elite 12-month Champions Digital Entrepreneurs Master’s Program, taking out top honours and being named joint Graduate of the Year — the highest recognition the institute awards. He is one of only a handful of web designers in regional Queensland operating at this level of training.

Olivia Everitt
CONTENT WRITER | COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST
Olivia brings over 14 years of professional experience across the arts and cultural, not-for-profit, and local government sectors. She is an industry leader in content writing and communications services — crafting website copy, blog articles, media releases, and EDM marketing that speaks directly to your audience and gets them to act.
Where Rhys engineers the architecture that gets your site ranking, Olivia makes sure the words on that site turn visitors into customers. That combination — technical SEO paired with sharp, strategic copy — is something most agencies simply cannot offer under one roof.
Outside of Gympie Web Design, Olivia runs a consulting practice specialising in professional grant writing, strategic planning, and workshop facilitation. Since 2017, she has supported clients to secure over $13.2 million in grant funding and sponsorships. That track record of persuasive, results-driven writing informs everything she produces for our clients.
