Gympie Web Design has recently collaborated with Queensland’s newest NDIS Support Coordination & Support Work Provider to build them a new website for the launch of their business in 2024. The new NDIS web design for Queensland Disability Invested Services (QDIS) is live and providing online exposure to new customers looking for NDIS support services in the Gympie, Hervey Bay, and the Sunshine Coast regions.
Some Important Features Behind This NDIS Web Design
As with all of our website builds here at Gympie Web Design, we covered important website design features for this NDIS Web Design project. Let’s run over some of those features.
Keyword Research
We started by providing keyword research into the NDIS business niche to identify a website domain name suitable for QDIS. A website domain that identifies what the business is about instantly provides invaluable context to potential customers. When the website shows up in a Google search result, the searcher has a pretty good idea of what the website is about before even clicking on it.
Competitor Research
Conducting keyword research also includes competitor research. Identifying, understanding, and examining your competitor’s NDIS Web Designs helps build a framework around site structure, website layout, and how much content is needed to become a relevant player in your business niche.
Meta Descriptions
Customised meta descriptions were also completed to also assist with identifying the website as an NDIS service provider. Good meta descriptions filled with relevant keywords can help boost the Click Through Rate (CTR) of your business within the Google Search Engine Results Page (SERPs).
Branding & Logo
The branding and logo for QDIS were completed by Aaron Lodder Designs here in Gympie. The orange and gold coloring and typography that was used in the QDIS business logo were continued throughout the entire website to provide uniformity and solidify the brand.

Custom Photography
Using stock images on a website is commonplace, and a lot of them are high quality. However, if you have the opportunity to use custom images and professional photographs, then I highly recommend you do so. Using custom photography sets your website apart from other websites and provides a unique experience for the website user. Leeroy Todd Photography teamed up with QDIS to provide some great professional business photos to add to the look and feel of the website.
Search Engine Optimised (SEO) Content
Easily one of the most important aspects of building a high-performing website, content throughout the site has been search engine optimised to improve the visibility and effectiveness in search engines such as Google. This was achieved by utilising various on-page SEO techniques by including keywords into Headings and Alt-Image Text, as well as adding in Geographical Identifiers to target certain locations.
Mobile Responsive
Having your website easily visible and working properly on a mobile device is a MUST in today’s digital world. Over 50% of website views are on a mobile device (and this number is increasing each year). The QDIS website is fully mobile responsive and incorporates clickable mobile phone numbers and email addresses which makes for a pleasurable user experience that helps drive more customers to the business.

Ongoing Maintenance For An NDIS Website
Building a well-performing NDIS Web Design is just the start of owning a successful website. Now that this digital asset has been created for QDIS, Gympie Web Design will provide ongoing website maintenance to keep it hosted, free of bugs, and void of broken links.
This involves daily maintenance checks to ensure that plugins and themes are updated, data backups are performed, and security plugins are repelling viruses. Website maintenance is an absolute necessity to keep everything running smoothly.
NDIS Web Design & SEO
SEO is a long-term game aimed at staying relevant in search engines and high in the SERPs. The same basic principle that applies to content websites also applies to local businesses with NDIS Web Designs.
Google is a business that is forever hungry for fresh and unique content. They use this fresh content and serve it up daily to the billions of people using its search engine. The best way to stay relevant in the eyes of Google is to keep giving them what they want. NDIS Websites (as well as other local business websites), can stay ahead of the game by updating their website regularly with high-quality blog posts and informative articles relevant to their business sector.
QDIS Testimonial
Read what the founder and driving force behind QDIS, Renee Kennedy, had to say about our website collaboration:
“Oh my goodness Rhys. What a website build. Thank you for your professionalism that has already become the base of QDIS’s future. I could not be happier. It is truly everything and more than I could ever of envisaged. It all seems so practical and clear. Everything is direct and informative but with a gentle vibrant feel.”
Thank You
Gympie Web Design would like to extend a massive thank you to QDIS for entrusting us with developing their business website with one of our Web Design Packages.
We loved collaborating with Renee and are very excited to see how this online presence will positively impact Renee’s new business. This digital kickstart is just the beginning for QDIS, we firmly believe that they will become a major provider in the NDIS Support Coordination and Support Work industry in Queensland. Gympie Web Design is looking forward to supporting QDIS as they progress forward.
