Gympie Web Design typically only designs websites using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). But we love a challenge, so we recently decided to try something different. We teamed up with the locally-owned Rural Solutions to create a Wix website design for their small business.
The Business
Rural Solutions is a Gympie-based business specializing in Land Clearing, Forestry Mulching, and other Land Management services performed by their experienced operator Blake in his Posi Track machine. Blake and his wife Mel had already purchased a domain name through the Wix platform and had set up a basic website but needed a hand turning it into something that would be an asset to their business.
The Challenge
We have some previous experience in the Wix platform, but it is certainly unfamiliar territory. Wix is a great platform for DIY builds, but it does not offer the same level of flexibility for website customisation compared to a CMS like WordPress. Despite this, we made sure that we stayed true to our core principles to deliver a website that can perform in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).
The Goal
Our goal was to craft a website that looks sleek and modern and ticks all the boxes for functionality, navigation ease, mobile-friendly, and search engine optimisation. After all, what good is a stunning website if it’s not suitable for your mobile phone or if it is lost in the vast online wilderness, right?
How The Wix Website Design Turned Out

At the end of the day, the main aim of having a website for a services-based business is to generate calls and enquiries for the business! We believe this Wix website design will provide organic Google search traffic moving forward and prove to be an asset for the business.
Initial SEO Indicators
Typically SEO can take up to 12 months (sometimes longer) to properly kick in and show on the search engine results. However in just a week since the launch, several of our local target keywords for their services are already displaying on the first page of Google.
This is a huge win so early in the game as they were only ranking for their business name before the website redesign. This will help more customers find the great services that Rural Solutions has to offer.
